Markets Aren't One of Them

Our  Story

"What came before cloud?"

The idea for Bear Scott originated following an webinar for marketing professionals at a large public software company. One of the participants, a seasoned field marketing manager, asked in private after the session "what came before cloud?"

Behind every opportunity lies a problem waiting to be solved. But the complexity of problems vary by organization, culture and where their employees are in the technology adoption journey. The opportunities are great, but the cost of bad decisions, poor alignment and untrained staff are greater.

Information technology is meant to be an enabler, a means to an end, an investment to accelerate business innovation, defeat the competition. and delight customers. To solve problems faster.

But the cost and complexity of technology adoption has grown faster than the organization's ability to use it effectively.

The most successful enterprises make technology adoption and business innovation appear deceptively simple to their markets:

  • Click to communicate with someone on the other side of the world.

  • Click to order something.

  • Click to demo, trial, purchase and use an application.

Cloud is one such technology. Cloud can enable, simplify, and accelerate. It can also confuse, frighten, distract and consume significant amounts of money, time and management cycles, but it doesn't have to.

Our mission is to help organizations accelerate cloud transformation so that they can grow faster and with less risk.
